Arlington Cemetry
So the story goes…Robert E. Lee lived on a hill in Arlington House. When the Civil War broke out his home state Virginia became part of the Confederacy so he decided to remain loyal to his state and back the Confederates. The Union didn’t like this so when they took over Virginia they forced him out of his house and put a graveyard of Civil War soldiers around it so he wouldn’t want to come back! Arlington Cementary has been built around these early graves.
